For four-hundred years the children of Israel walked as strangers and servants in a land not their own. As servants and slaves the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob marched to the rhythm of Pharaohs and task-masters. But the Sovereign One had not forgotten his people nor his promises and soon raised up a deliverer from among the children of Israel to lead them to a new life and a new land. Prior to the children of Israel leaving the land of Egypt the Sovereign Creator of the Universe blessed his chosen people with a calendar that would teach the faithful how to walk in rhythm with the Creator’s prophetic clock.

The Sovereign of the Universe was very clear as to when this calendar was to begin. “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” (Exodus 12:2). What month was the Creator referring to? The Creator appointed the month in the spring of the year when the barley is ‘aviv’ as the “head of the months”. This month, when the children of Israel left Egypt, was to be the first month of the year—Rosh Hashanah. Unfortunately the children of Israel failed to keep the covenant as Moses received it, and were again sent into exile, this time into Babylon. It was in Babylon that the rabbis began changing everything. Suddenly, the rabbis declared that the New Year began on the first day of the seventh month. It was the rabbis who obliterated the Creator’s appointed time, replacing Yom Teruah–the Day of Blowing, with their own declaration of the New Year, thus moving Rosh Hashanah to the fall or seventh Biblical month. Why did the rabbis wish to replace YHWH’S APPOINTED REHEARSAL?

Join Glenn McWilliams as he teaches the prophetic purpose and meaning of the Sovereign Creator’s appointed rehearsal—Yom Teruah or The Day of Blowing. Discover why the rabbis may have tried to hide the “evidence” contained in this commanded memorial blowing. This teaching was filmed live in Detroit, Michigan at the A Rood Awakening! Yom Teruah celebration.
